Beauty Day One

For Opening night we really wanted to create a look that had dramatic depth to it. My Outfit for the evening was all white, so we really had a nice natural palette to work with. I knew I wanted to rock the dark plum lip that we have been seeing gracing the red carpet of the recent Met Gala, but rather then your average plain wing, we created a light smoke around it.

Laura Mercier foundation gave coverage yet a real skin finish, working from centre of the face out.

Zoeva palette-2

Highlight and shade was added for a sculpted look with Zoeva cosmetics. Lip we used a colour that wasn’t a dark as we wanted so using the deep plum shadow we patted it into the lip so give us the shade we preferred.

Drama and focus was an extended wing eyeliner and deep plum lip, perfect contrast to the white Detail in outfit.

Due to the dramatic look, a extreme full lash was needed. Cutting the lash to the length of your lash line, apply the lash and follow with a slight powered line, once dry.

As makeup look was such a focal point, hair was straightened and slicked back using all ghd hair styling and tools.
